Project Description

Comprehensive feasibility study to evaluate the implementation of an investment program to establish seven advanced electricity Distribution Control Centers. The project aims to modernize the grid, improve operational efficiency, and ensure integration with renewable energy sources. The scope includes technical, economic, and financial analysis, as well as environmental and social assessments.

Scope of Work

Conducting a feasibility study to modernize Egypt’s electricity distribution grid by establishing seven advanced Distribution Control Centers. It involves reviewing existing infrastructure, assessing technical feasibility (SCADA, DMS, GIS, cybersecurity), estimating costs, conducting financial and cost-benefit analyses, evaluating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, performing environmental and social impact assessments
(ESIA), and recommending technology, workforce capacity-building plans, and an implementation timeline.
